Musashi Martial Arts is located in the south end of Barrie at 41 King Street, Unit #3. We offer classes in Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling. The Dojo is opened for business on weeknights and classes are held during the day on weekends.

Musashi Martial Arts is a member of Judo Ontario and the Ontario Jiu-Jitsu Association (OJA). We are an affiliate of Robert Drysdale Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Men, Women and Children, all ages and skill levels are welcome.

A Samurai warrior from 16th and 17th century Japan, Miyamoto Musashi is a real life hero who has become an historical figure of legendary proportion for his excellence in the art of swordsmanship. He was born in Japan in 1584 and learned the art of fighting from his father.

He fought his first duel at the age of 13, and went undefeated in more than 60 duels before the age of 29. For 30 years after his last fight, Musashi traveled around Japan perfecting his art and teaching his military principles...

Judo comes to us from the fighting system of feudal Japan. Founded in 1882 by Dr. Jigoro Kano, Judo is a refinement of the ancient martial art of jiu jitsu.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) emphasizes ground fighting techniques and submission holds involving joint locks and choke holds. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger opponent using leverage and proper technique..
